CalArts Reunion 2010: Tomorrow Started Here

Reunion only happens once every five years, so don't miss out!!

On Saturday, October 9, over 1,000 alumni, faculty and friends of CalArts will return to Valencia to help celebrate the Institute’s 40th anniversary.   Please join us!

A full day of programming from 12PM - 7PM has been planned for you to reconnect with former classmates, enjoy a variety of performances and exhibits, catch up with faculty, tour the campus and see CalArts has grown. So, whether you attended the LA Conservatory of Music, the Chouinard School of Art or one of CalArts’ current six schools, Reunion2010 has something for you. To learn more view the Reunion Schedule.

Admission for reunion is $50 per person for adults ($75 at the door) and $15 ($25 at the door) for children ages 6-17.  Lunch is included.  A special premium package, including one reserved table for 10, luncheon table and wine service, VIP parking and web acknowledgment is also available for $1,000.

Guests are strongly encouraged to register online to avoid long lines.

If you are not able to join us for this year's reunion, please consider making a gift in any amount to support CalArts

Cash on campus
There are two ATMs on campus, but we strongly recommend that guests bring cash to make purchases at our Vendor Marketplace and to buy drink tickets.

Staying overnight?

Many alumni don’t want to drive home after a full day, so we secured a special $99/night reunion package at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Valencia, including breakfast.  Be sure to ask them about their discounted Super Shuttle rates from LAX and Burbank Airports. For a list of hotels in Santa Clarita Valley, visit Accommodations.

Traveling to campus with little Calartians?
The CalArts Community Arts Partnership/CAP will coordinate programming for youth (ages 6-14), including storytelling, puppetry, drama and dance performances, and arts and crafts.  Space is limited.  To reserve a place for your child, email hwilder@calarts.edu.  Please note that our policy requires that a parent accompanies his or her child while they take part in activities.

Vendor Marketplace
CalArts invites members of the alumni community and local businesses to participate in our outdoor reunion Vendor Marketplace, which will be located on Clark's Field on main campus between 10:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.  The cost is $100.  For more information, visit Vendors.
